MCCCC is a  501 3C agency:

MCCCC is available to help persons who have been affected by fires, tornadoes, hurricanes or recently released from the county jail.

We assist persons who are eligible with food, vouchers for water (City of Anahuac) or propane (Gore Propane as well assistance with gas to get to a Dr. appointment, with proper documentation. We also help on a limited basis with a voucher for medical supplies/prescriptions through Willcox Drug Store.  We assist the AISD nurse with items of clothing and shoes needed for students in need. 

For our voucher program there are income and other guidelines including but not limited to proof of residence and completing the USDA Texas Commodity Assistance Program (TEXCAP) Form H1555 and meet the income guideline on Form H1640.  With these programs providing false information or incomplete information will cause the recipient and their household (physical address) to be disqualified from the Mid Chambers Christian Caring Center Inc. programs. 

Our Client Assistance Program (food/produce) have no income guidelines and are open to any Mid Chambers County resident. The Sr. Box Program is limited to Seniors with proper ID and income requirements must be met with an application.  Both of these programs are currently scheduled at Our Lady of Light Parish Hall at 2207 S. Main,  Anahuac, Texas

    1120 North Main Items are provided to qualified impoverished families. You must have a photo I.D. with a Mid Chambers County address, along with the most recent electric bill. Proof of income such as a letter showing Social Security, Pension or Veteran’s benefits, Workers Compensation or Unemployment benefits, or a current year income tax filing statement, these should be presented for qualification for our programs. In accordance with Federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, the USDA, its agencies, offices and employees and institutions participating in or administering USDA programs are prohibited from discriminating based on race, color, national origin, sex, religious creed, disability, age, political beliefs or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity in any program or activity conducted or funded by USDA.
